MEMBERS of the Manifest Theatre are hoping to hit the right note with their first production of 2015.
The group will be performing Quartet, written by multi-award winner Ronald Harwood, which tells the story of three ageing opera singers who are joined in a retirement home by a face from one of their pasts.
All four of the eccentric group then reminisce about their lives and consider their futures.
John Robert is the director and producer of the show at the Oxford Road theatre in Manningtree, and is looking forward to seeing his cast perform.
He said: “If you like a drama that is full of humour and poignancy, then make sure you book your ticket for Quartet at the end of January.
“I am lucky to have an experienced and talented cast who are creating four wonderful characters."
the show, which runs from Tuesday until the following Saturday at 7.30pm, cost £6 for members of the theatre and £8 for non-members. The box office at the theatre is open on Saturday between 10.30am and noon, and on Monday and Wednesday between 7.30pm and 9pm.
