A VILLAGE hall has been officially reopened after a massive renovation project.
Major improvements have been made to Mistley village hall, off Shrublands Road.
It has involved creating a front lobby, increased storage and building public toilets, as well as a private shower room and toilet for the kids club.
Other improvements included installing energy saving features such as double-glazed windows.
Councillors, hall users and funding partners gathered at the hall on Wednesday for the official opening.
Parish council chairman Martin Rayner said: “We are very proud of what we have got and what we have achieved.”
