A WOMAN has raised more than £300 to help a charity that creates wigs for children who have lost their hair through illness.
Stephanie Cook, of Ramsey Road, Dovercourt, had her waist-length locks chopped off for the Little Princess Trust.
The 30-year-old was inspired by a friend who donated her hair a few years ago.
She had the chop at Wave Hair Design and Beauty.
“I managed to raise £380 in donations, which I am so pleased with,” she said. “If you also include the gift aid, it will be around £450 going to the charity, which is fantastic.”
