PLANS to make changes to Manningtree pub have been given the green light.
The owners of the Red Lion, in South Street, applied to Tendring Council to carry out internal alterations, including removing the toilets and installing new conveniences within the beer cellar.
Manningtree Town Council backed the planning application which will not affect the outside of the building.
It was felt the works will not harm the heritage asset or have a harmful effect on the historical significance of the building.
Tendring Council has approved the application for listed building consent.
