PUPILS showed off their coiffuring skills at a spectacular hair show.
The youngsters from Harwich and Dovercourt High School showed off their intricate plaiting, cutting and up dos to a packed audience of family, friends and representatives from nearby hair salons.
As well as being an assessment for their vocational-related qualification, Jazmine Archer was named best in show.
The pupils, from Years Ten, 11 and 12, all had to recreate a 1980s hairstyle using authentic tools, products and equipment.
The audience at Friday’s show was also treated to music by band Neon, who played tracks such as A-ha’s Take on Me and Bon Jovi's Livin’ on a Prayer.
The evening raised more than £200 for the Spinal Muscular Atrophy charity, the sixth-form’s chosen good cause this year
