FOOTBALL mad youngsters who won all but one match this season have celebrating taking home their league title by touring Harwich and Dovercourt on an open-top bus.
Players in the Little Oakley Reds U12 team celebrated winning the Colchester and District league D in style with the special bus tour on Saturday.
Team Manager Ian Cottee said: "We wanted to do something that little bit special for the boys, they have worked so hard all season and done it by playing creative attacking football."
The team won 21 of the 22 games played this season, scored 137 goals and conceded 21 goals.
They had to beat 11 other teams for the title.
Manager's player of the year was Samuel Cooke and the players' player of the year was Louie Hargreaves.
