A HILARIOUS spoof video has seen school teachers and staff become internet sensations.

The 9-minute leavers video sees Harwich and Dovercourt High School teachers dressing up in an array of outlandish outfits and strutting their stuff to tracks by Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars and Sam Smith as they bid farewell to this year’s batch of Year 11 pupils.

PE teacher Joe Francis also donned hot pants and a pair of high heels to perform his take on the well known Money Supermarket advert.

Staff have been starring in the videos since 2009 to say goodbye to pupils who are finishing school, and organiser Michelle Causon believes it is the best one yet.

She said: “It has grown and grown and this we had around 60 staff members involved.

“Now it takes a long time to film – probably about four weeks to do all the filming and editing with our IT specialist Martin Rudland.

“It is shown at the end of the leavers’ assembly and is the last thing all the students watch before they go off to their prom.”
