TWO councillors have apologised after an investigation found they had breached the councillors' code of conduct.
An official complaint was made against Carlo Guglielmi and Alan Coley, both Tendring councillors for Manningtree and parish councillors for Lawford.
An investigation by Tendring Council's monitoring officer upheld a complaint that the duo failed to disclose an interest at a planning committee meeting in November last year.
At the meeting the Summers' Park development off Cox's Hill was discussed, which is providing homes for the Lawford Enterprise Housing Trust of which both councillors are directors.
Both have written letters of apology admitting the breach.
