Hearty singers in action at last year's festival
SHANTY singers are in full voice for this year’s Sea Shanty Festival in Harwich.
The event started yesterday and is running through the weekend.
A packed programme of activities is up and running across the town.
It includes sea shanty singing a military encampment and workshops at the Redoubt Fort, while festival events and performances will also take place at The New Bell Inn, Alma Inn, The Stingray, Hanover Inn, Samuel Pepys, Harwich Brewery, Crown Post, Electric Palace and the Ha'Penny Pier.
