DAMAGED overhead lines are disrupting rail services on the London Liverpool Street mainline through north Essex.
A number of services between Norwich and London have been cancelled or delayed because of damaged electric wires at Diss.
Train operator Abellio Greater Anglia said disruption is expected until 8pm and have apologised to people whose journeys have been hit.
The company's website says Network Rail Engineers are working as quickly as possible to resolve the problem and restore normal services. The 5.23pm and 6.23pm services from Colchester to Norwich are among the cancellations.
