A MAN and a woman tried to accost two young boys by telling them there were Pokemon at their house.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the boys, aged ten and 11, were approached in the park near the swimming pool in Lower Marine Parade, Harwich, on Thursday, August 11.

The boys were with their mothers at the park.

While playing the Pokemon Go game, they were approached by a man and a woman who told them they had a Pokemon at their house and the boys should go with them to see it.

The boys refused and ran back to their mums who reported the incident to police.

The man is described as white, in his late 20s, had dark brown hair, was of slim build, 5ft 6ins tall and was wearing a short sleeved grey T-shirt.

The only description of the woman was that she had long light brown hair.
