NORTH Essex is set to be battered by winds of up to 65mph tonight and into Sunday morning.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the East of England.
An area of low pressure – now named Storm Angus – is due to move across the south and east of England from tonight.
It will see heavy rain and strong winds sweep across north and mid Essex.
Inland winds are expected to reach 45 to 55mph while on the coast it could be as high as 65mph.
A more serious amber warning has been issued for London and the South East.
