A MAN accused of blinding a stranger in one eye during an acid attack has been remanded into custody.
Jack Psaras, 31, is accused of throwing a toxic liquid into the face of a man outside a pub in Walton.
It is alleged the liquid was acid, ammonia or another noxious substance. The victim has lost partial sight in one eye.
Colchester Magistrates’ Court heard the victim had already had one operation and needs more.
Psaras of Warde Chase, Walton, will next appear in court on March 29.
