ROADWORKS on some parts of the A120 are set to cause disruption to motorists for the rest of the month and into April.

Roadworks on the eastbound A120 between the A12 Colchester East and the junction with the A136 in Harwich will leave one of the two lanes closed to traffic.

Highways England has warned there will be disruption every day between 8pm and 6am from today to March 18.

It also warned the works could cause disruption from 8pm to 6am between March 20 and March 25, March 27 to April 1 and April 3 to April 8.

Works also start on the westbound A120 between Braintree and Colchester from Friday to Monday.

Further along the A12, emergency roadworks are planned for the northbound A12 between the A1023 near Brentwood and the A414 Chelmsford West.

These are due to start tonight and will see one lane closed.
