LIFEBOAT stations from across Tendring are set to benefit from a gala fundraising Britannia Ball being staged next month.
The evening of entertainment and enjoyment is being staged by Tendring Council Chairman Mark Platt.
The event will take place at the Waterfront in Harwich on Friday, June 30, at 7pm.
Dress code is black tie dinner with fine dining and music featuring Tendring Brass Band.
There will be a welcome drink and live entertainment throughout the evening which finishes at 11.30pm. A silent auction will also be held.
All the money raised on the night will go to Harwich, Clacton, Frinton and Walton lifeboat stations.
The ball is part of Mr Platt’s year of “This is Tendring” celebrations aimed at boosting a number of national and local charities.
Tickets, priced at £50 per person, are available and can be booked by calling Emma Haward on 01255 686907.
