FUNDRAISERS have managed to raise more than £5,000 for an adrenaline fuelled family festival.
Andrea King, who runs events group Harwich Angels, has managed to raise a total of £5,500 to host a summer event on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25.
The Ken Fox Hell Riders and their six-metre high wall of death are set to be the main attraction at the event held on Harwich Green.
There will also be inflatables, rides, bars, food stalls, games and live entertainment.
Andrea said: “I am truly humbled and proud to say we have managed to raise the £5,500 needed to stage this event and all profits will be equally split between our five chosen charities after the event.”
The charities are Sponsor a Sibling, MAZE, Harwich Food Bank, the Bumblebees Disabled Football Club and the Harwich Mayoress’s appeal.
She added: “On behalf of Harwich angels we would like to thank everyone for their support and hope to see everyone there for a fun-filled weekend.”
