PRIMARY school pupils made their own poppy wreaths to pay tribute to those who died in conflict.
Children from Mayflower Primary School, in Dovercourt, displayed an array of hand made wreaths for Remembrance Day at a special assembly on Friday, November 10.
Teacher Joanne Dowman said the pupils paid their respects by creating their own poppy wreaths.
She said: “These were displayed for an assembly where they had visitors from the Royal British Legion to explain the importance of Remembrance Day and the significance of the poppy.
“These wreaths were later displayed around the school for everyone to see and think about the sacrifices made during times of conflict.”
