A YELLOW warning for snow and ice has been issued over north Essex.
Met Office forecasters say snow could fall in Colchester from 11am this morning and after 7pm tonight.
Temperatures are expected to reach highs of just 2°C however experts say the 'feels like' temperature will be no higher than -3°C.
Tomorrow will have a frosty start with cloud moving in later in the day alongside wintry showers.
The maximum temperature will be 6°C.
Over the weekend, we will see temperatures increasing but with light rain.
There will be a chance of dense fog developing on Monday.
