Harwich: UPDATED Trains up and running again

A NORMAL service has resumed between Harwich and Manningtree this afternoon following a signalling problems.

Commuters were told to expect delays of up to 15 minutes between the two towns this morning and buses replaced trains this lunch time after National Express East Anglia reported signalling problems around the Harwich International area.

The 11am train from Harwich Town to London Liverpool Street was started at Colchester because of the problem.

Passengers were warned to expect short notice alterations and the buses were expected to be running until 1.30pm.
