HUNDREDS of pounds was raised for charity with a Elvis night.
Dennis and Carol Green organised a rock and roll night for friends and family at The Kings Arm pub in Lawford.
They placed donation pots around the bar and on tables for people to put money in as they enjoyed the evening.
Mr Green said: “The aim was to raise some some money for British Heart Foundation and Alzheimers Society by donations.
“We are pleased to say we raised £320, which will be divided equally between the two.
“It was a great evening with the music being provided by Elvis Tribute Act, Barry Tone.
“We had a number of people who came in 1950s dress which added to the evening.”
Mr Green added that family deaths from heart conditions and after dementure had prompted their fundraising night.
“We were really happy with the money we raised.”
