KNITTING needles have been getting a work out at a primary school as part of a community project.
Children at Two Village Primary School in Ramsey have been joined by grandmothers, aunts and parents to learn the techniques of knitting and crocheting.
They will be making trees and flowers all in 3D, which will all be put together to create a 20ft long soft garden to hang from the school’s atrium.
Kay Wills, headteacher, said: “We started the project three weeks ago and all the children are involved - and all the people coming in to help are from Ramsey.
“The children are all really enjoying it."
