A BREASTFEEDING mum has said she was left in tears after being thrown out of a cafe.

Lisa Willis was feeding her ten-month-old daughter Connie in the White Coffee House, in Kingsway, when she was asked to cover up by the owner.

The mum-of-four, who also had her two-year-old Olivia with her, said she was left “stunned and violated”.

Mrs Willis, of Ramsey, said: “I was just feeding my baby and this woman came up to me and said ‘stop doing that’.

“I didn’t know what she was talking about because she was so aggressive. I looked at Olivia because I wondered if she was hanging off a light footing or something.

“The owner said ‘you can’t do that in here’. I told her I was just feeding my baby and she told me to get out.”

The 36-year-old Primrose Lane resident added that she is considering launching a civil case against the White Coffee House.

“I just feel so violated. I was crying,” she said.

But the owners of the coffee house have denied the claim.

Coral Cox***CORR***, co-owner of the White Coffee House, denied telling Mrs Willis to leave and said she only asked her to cover up after receiving complaints from male customers.

“This woman had her whole boob out,” said Mrs Cox.

“I went over and said would you be able to cover yourself up a bit. She said ‘where am I supposed to feed my child’ and I said the toilet.

“She said she wouldn’t be coming back and I said good.”
