The Colne Valley Cats Protection Charity shop will reopen after being closed for three months.
The shop, in High Street, Halstead, was first opened in June 2009 with the purpose of supporting the Cats Protection Branch that was covering Halstead, Sible Hedingham, The Colnes and reaching as far as Braintree and Witham.
The income from the shop is vital to support the work of the branch, which has so far rehomed 70 cats and kittens and helped with the costs of neutering 150 cats.
It will reopen after shutting in June on Thursday under new manager Julie Rust.
Anyone wishing to foster, adopt a cat, make a donation or would like items for the shop collected from their homes, please phone 0845 260 1384 or email colnevalleycats@gmail.com.
