Lessons to learn over Kirsty's death
A REPORT into the murder of Kirsty Humphrey by her abusive boyfriend is expected to say the authorities should have done more to protect her.
Kirsty, 23, was brutally stabbed to death by Mark Czapla in their home in Queen Elizabeth Way, Colchester, last September.
The Safer Colchester Partnership has sent a Domestic Homicide Review and an “action plan of lessons learnt” to the Home Office. Calls have been made for the report to be published.
