TEMPERS flared when roads were blocked as pensioners flocked to a doctor’s surgery to get flu jabs.
Military police stepped in to control traffic around the Creffield Medical Centre, in Cavalry Road, Colchester, when it was besieged on its annual vaccination day.
Almost 1,800 people had the vaccination, causing nearby roads to become completely jammed.
