Police are appealing for witnesses after four cars were damaged in one night.
The cars were all scratched with a sharp implement overnight on Saturday in Staplers Heath, Great Totham.
Vehicles damaged were a silver Seat Leon, a white Volkswagen Polo, a blue Ford Fiesta and a silver Vauxhall Zafira.
Anyone with information please call Sergeant Austin at Maldon Police Station.
