There are only two more days left to see First World War items from the Braintree area at at Braintree District Museum's Braintree District at War exhibition.
More than 2,000 people have visited it so far.
Key items on display include a fragment from the bomb that fell in Braintree on March 31, 1916, killing four people, letters relating to a soldier from Rayne and his family, and a trench display showing how the uniform and equipment of British, French and German soldiers changed during the war.
The exhibition runs until this Friday. The museum is open 10am-4pm.
Normal admission charges apply (£3 adults, £1.50 concessions, children free).
