Halstead’s new PCSO is looking forward to patrolling his “home” area.

PCSO James Graham will take over from Brian “Eddy” Edwards, who ended an eight year stint patrolling Halstead when hung up his boots in September.

James, 30, moved to Pebmarsh when he was eight and attended Hedingham School, in Sible Hedingham.

His first job was in 2001 when he worked at Solar Supermarket in Halstead, and he still considers Halstead to be home, even though he has also lived in Lincolnshire and North Wales.

He joined Essex Police in 2005 as a police constable and was stationed in Loughton and Harlow.
