Sixty-five children enjoyed Paddington Bear themed activities at Maldon library.
Over the Easter holidays, youngsters visited the White Horse Lane library where they took part in a treasure hunt, iced bear biscuits and enjoyed craft sessions.
Library spokesman Bridget Keyes said: “The library was filled with happy children clutching all of their Paddington Bear treasures.
“It was lovely to see the library so animated and busy with lots of families joining in with the library to celebrate the life of one very famous Bear.
“There was also a lovely display of Paddington books that the children were able to borrow with their library cards.”
