POLICE have cordoned off houses and put up a black tent in a residential street.
Officers are understood to have been at the scene, in Thorpe Walk, Colchester, since Wednesday, with police also there yesterday and today.
Their focus is around a particular house.
Essex Police has refused to say what the activity is regarding.
