Scores of children had a fantastic time fooling around at jester school.
Children turned into professional jokers for the day as they enjoyed jester-themed activities during the event at Cressing Temple Barns on Wednesday and yesterday.
The event, organised by R&H Services for the schools’ half term holidays, featured an international jester from Australia who performed a jester show and taught children how to juggle, spin plates and throw a diabolo.
Hilary Mynott, who organised the event, said: “We had a storyteller, who told stories of Richard the Lionheart and the jester going to rescue him.
“We also had a variety of arts and crafts so children could have a go making their own wooden jester masks and jester hats.
“There was also have-a-go archery and maypole dancing thrown in.
“A lovely time was had by all and the sun shone, which was lovely.”
