Children were able to hone their football skills at camps over the summer holidays.
Held frequently throughout the summer holidays at Earls Colne Football Club, at the Recreation Ground, Earls Colne, the sessions included doing drills, games and matches.
Similar one-day camps were also held in Coggeshall and Colchester.
Organiser Daniel Mather, who has been running the camps for children between five and 12 years old in the school holidays for four years, said: “We had 13 attending last Friday and it went really well.
“Over the 20 camps we have had about 250 children.
“The children enjoyed it and they are all stars in my eyes.
“I’m really pleased and proud of how it has all gone.”
He will be doing more camps in the October half term and will be running weekly sessions at Earls Colne Football Club soon.
