A “small but mighty” great-grandmother who spent eight decades in Tiptree, celebrated her 100th birthday by meeting her latest great-grandchild for the first time.
Ida Taylor was born so small that she was not expected to survive.
On Saturday, surrounded by family, she celebrated her milestone with a card from the Queen.
Ida said: “I wasn’t even expected to live a week when I was born as I was so small."
