FIREFIGHTERS had to cut a person from their car after a two vehicle crash in Maldon.
Two crews from Maldon went to the crash in Market Hill at 7.16pm yesterday, February 11.
They used one set of specialist cutting equipment and had released the person by 8.11pm.
They were left in the care of the Ambulance Service.
A spokesman for the East of England ambulance service said: "We were called at 7.19pm.
"We sent an ambulance, they have treated one patient, a male in his 50s, for arm and neck injuries and taken him to Broomfield Hospital."
The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
