Fire crews attend flat fire
FIREFIGHTERS attended after a blaze broke out in the kitchen of a flat.
A crew from Colchester and another from Brightlingsea were called to a property in Stanley Wooster Way, Colchester, just after 2.30pm.
Using breathing apparatus they extinguished the fire within 20 minutes and cleared the rooms of smoke using a ventilation fan.
