A MAD hatter tea party was held at Witham Luncheon Club to raise funds.
The club meets at Witham Town Hall and offers residents an opportunity to socialise.
The club does not receive any Government funding, and so it held a tea party on Friday, July 29 to raise money.
In four hours the club managed to raise £250, and all money will go directly to running the Luncheon Club.
Chair of the Chamber of Commerce, Tina Townsend, said she would like to thank all the sponsors for helping out.
She also wanted to thank the volunteers who made cakes, tea, coffee and sandwiches to sell.
