A “Show Stopping” concert event will take place in South Woodham Ferrers this weekend.

The “Show Stopper” concert from Men2sing has attracted some star names in recent years, but few that match singer Jane Horn, who has starred in tour productions of Starlight Express and Les Misérables, who will perform this Saturday.

Jane will bring the West End to the town, to join the county’s top team of harmony singers in a gala presentation of music that reflects her personal taste of songs that range from “Sweet Charity” to “Rocky Horror” and “Forbidden Planet”.

Jane's TV and Theatre bio includes as a child, entry to the Sylvia Young Theatre School, on to top grades at the Bristol Old Vic, into Lynda La Plante TV Productions for ITV and BBC and much more.

Additionally for the gala, Men2sing have added new numbers by Beach Boys, ELO and Queen to their impressive range of "top hits in harmony" performances.

About coming to South Woodham, Jane said: “I've seen the polished performances of Men2sing and I'm now so excited to be joining them and bring our music to a country venue that they fill every year."

The concert takes place at the William De Ferrers Concert Centre in Trinity Square on Saturday at 7.30pm. Tickets are £12. Call 01702 612117.
