GUNS, soldiers and tanks lined up for demonstrations at a military show.

The Military and Flying Machines Show, which has been running annually for the past ten years, made its Heybridge debut on Saturday and Sunday.

Run by the Essex Historic Military Vehicle Association (HMVA), the show featured hundreds of vehicles, re-enactments, performances, arena shows and interactive activities.

It featured the history of modern warfare, life in the Wild West, 1940s style live music, a vintage fashion show and a First World War memorial flight amongst many other attractions.

All the organisers and people at the event are volunteers who take no salary and any money that is made goes to various causes.
