A MAN has pleaded guilty to being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control which bit a man in Dovercourt.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was bitten in Cliff Road at about 10.15pm on Sunday.
Russel Turner, 53, of Cliff Road was arrested and charged.
At Colchester Magistrates’ Court today he pleaded guilty to being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury but denied charges of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and assault by beating.
He is next due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court in relation to the latter two offences on October 2.
