A MAN called 999 saying he had a gun and was going to shoot someone during an alleged attack on two women.
Barry White, 47, of Clifton Avenue, Benfleet, admitted making the threat outside a property in Kursaal Way, Southend, in a phone call to police. He denied assaulting two females by beating them. The alleged offences are said to have happened on October 4.
At a short hearing at Southend Magistrates’ Court, Simon Bravery, prosecuting, said: “The allegation is on October 4 Mr White went to the property where the two were and there was an incident where he assaulted them and started to push one to the other.”
White was given conditional bail until a plea and case management hearing at Basildon Crown Court on March 6.
