Morse fun at heritage centre
THE Thurrock Acorns Amateur Radio Club and Purfleet Heritage Centre teamed up to show how communications have changed over the years.
During the event, the club used a special call sign GB2PHC (Purfleet Heritage Centre).
This gave visitors a chance to have a go at one of the modes and commun i c at e with people in other countries through Morse code – a method used to transmit text messages.
