Helen Arber Performing Arts (HAPA) will be celebrating its second birthday with two very special shows at the Civic Theatre in Chelmsford.

HAPA now runs three branches of its stage school (in Billericay, Shenfield and Southend) as well as an elite Academy branch which offers a part-time foundation acting course. For the first time ever all of the HAPA branches will come together to perform at one venue.

The shows will be on Wednesday, March 25 and Thursday, March 26.

The White Lounge is a show written especially for the HAPA students and it embraces everything that Helen Arber Performing Arts is about; fun, energy and enthusiasm.

Principal, Helen Arber, says “At HAPA we create inspirational environments full of energy and enthusiasm. We strive to bring out the best in all our students, having fun and building confidence along the way. Every one of our schools stages full shows at the end of every term! At HAPA we welcome students from all backgrounds, regardless of their ability or experience. We believe in giving everyone a chance to shine”.

As a child Helen lived and attended school in Billericay.
