A ROAD in Westcliff has become partially blocked after an accident.
The westbound side of Kenilworth Gardens, near St Thomas More High School, has been partially blocked as a result of the crash, which occurred at about 11.45am.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 11.26am to Prittlewell Chase in Westcliff to a road traffic collision.
"An ambulance crew, rapid response vehicle, and ambulance officer attended to a report of a man with chest pain.
"He was taken to Southend University Hospital for further treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or serious.
