Coastguards help rescue injured man from yacht
Southend coastguards helped rescue an elderly man who suffered leg injuries on board a yacht.
Ambulance crews and coastguards worked together to reach the 73-year-old at Essex Marina, on Wallasea Island, after being called at about 10am yesterday.
The man was taken to hospital for further treatment.
