THE Prime Minister’s former special adviser inspected cadets at their passing out parade.
Cadets from Westcliff High School for Boys celebrated completing their training with a parade at the school.
Shaun Bailey, an honorary Colonel for the Army Cadet Force and former special adviser on youth and crime, acted as inspecting officer at the annual ceremony.
Southend West MP Sir David Amess and Brigadier David Short, general secretary of the national Combined Cadet Force Association charity, were guests of honour at a celebratory dinner in the evening.
