MORE than 300 children from London were treated to a day out in sunny Southend yesterday.
The annual daytrip for underprivileged kids from the capital is organised by the London Taxi Drivers’ Fund and the Southend Taxi Drivers’ Charity Fund.
The youngsters enjoyed a slap-up lunch at the Cliffs Pavilion, in Westcliff, before heading to Adventure Island for an afternoon of fun.
They returned to the Cliffs for dinner and a disco before heading home.
