TWO men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was found with serious head injuries have been released on bail.
The pair, a 59-year-old man from Billericay and a 53-year-old man from Basildon were arrested by officers after a man in his forties was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries on Thursday July 30.
He was taken to Royal London Hospital shortly after 9am after emergency services were called to Sudbury Farm Road in Little Burstead, near Billericay.
A spokeswoman for Essex Police said: “A 59-year-old man from Billericay and 53-year-old man from Basildon have been bailed until September 4 pending further enquiries.”
