THE nation has decided to leave the EU and it hasn’t resulted in the end of the world!

The over-confidence of the Remain supporters never envisaged this outcome and now the knives are out to cull the political failures.

While elements of blame are being levelled in every direction, no-one is pointing the finger at Juncker whose arrogance and obstinacy demonstrated he was not prepared under any circumstances to allow any reasonable reform. Had he been more reasonable and flexible, the outcome may well have been different.

Now the decision is made, Government MPs need to put their own personal opinions behind them, respect thedecision and wholeheartedly work to implement the effects of our exit. If they are unable to support this decision and they feel unable to deal with the challenging task ahead, they must follow the example of the PM and resign.

...I JOINED Ukip in 2005 as an active member until 2015. While I’m not a fan, it is still the party that has given us this result. This referendum was not just about immigration, it was about governing ourselves, having our own laws, and having our own say on how our country is run. It was about our children and our grandchildren’s future. It was about them being able to buy a house of their own, being able to afford the rent without using food money to top it up. It was about being able to see a doctor within a week and getting a hospital bed.

So if you think that everybody that voted to leave was only thinking immigration you are so wrong.

THERE is a new dawn for the UK, whether we like it or not. I knew Essex would vote out of Europe, but I had no idea of the scale of the victory for the Brexit camp across the country.

We are now left in a state of limbo for a number of years, both domestically due to Mr Cameron’s departure and the talks to exit Europe.

We are a nation divided. The Scots want to leave us. Half the country is against the other half. Absolutely awful!

...I WAS sad to see David Cameron go. He was true to his word in giving us a referendum on the EU. I bet he regrets that day.

As commentators said, the luck has finally run out for the luckiest man in politics. But please, can we avoid Boris Johnson as PM, He would be a national embarrassment.
