British stars Peter Andre and boyband Blue will headline a brand new bank holiday festival in Dagenham this weekend.
Now That’s a Festival will stage its first ever event in the region this Sunday August 27.
Presenter Jeff Brazier will lead a stellar line-up as past and present favourites offer something for everyone throughout the two days.
Forming part of the 2016 Summer of Festivals programme, the weekender offers a “feelgood atmosphere” in the perfect location in Central Park.
Che Chesterman, a finalist on last year’s X Factor, said he was excited to be performing.
“It’s somewhere I have always wanted to perform because I lived nearby. And to perform with the likes of Blue and all these different artists is amazing,” he said.
Big screens, huge fairground attractions and interactive challenges for adults and children (over six years old only) also feature.
The app village offers new ideas from technology innovators and all the best brands will showcase their festival fashion range.
The usual food and drink facilities will take festival coupons rather than cash. Tickets (from £25) are available from nowthatsafestival.com
