A second man has today been charged with attempting to murder three men during a shooting on Canvey.
Conall Regan, 22, of Thames Road, Canvey, is charged with attempting to murder William Tatham, Reece Johnson and a third man known only as Woody.
He was further charged with being in possession of a sawn off shot gun.
He will appear at Southend Magistrates Court this morning.
The charges relate to a shooting in Somnes Avenue, Canvey, in August, when a gun was discharged inside a car.
Callum Hutchins, 20, of Mornington Road, Canvey, has already been charged with three counts of attempted murder, as well as possessing a shotgun with intent to endanger life, in relation to the incident.
He appeared at Southend Magistrates Court earlier in the month to deny the charges and was remanded in custody until a trial in February.
